Meet the Doctors
Dr. Nancy Di Santo – Dentist
With nearly 25 years of experience, Dr. Nancy Di Santo earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from the University of Toronto in 1994. Since then, she has been a member in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), and the Canadian Dental Association (CDA). Dr. Di Santo has served on various committees with RCDSO since 2014 as a non-council member, and has been the treatment plan coordinator of 3rd year DDS undergraduate students in the Faculty of Dentistry since 2018.
Dr. Di Santo is committed to her patient families at Village Dental, and enjoys both general family dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. She actively pursues lifelong learning opportunities to better serve her patients and stay current with professional standards and education. Delivering the quality dental care her patients seek and deserve has always, and will forever be, Dr. Di Santo’s priority.
Outside of the office, Dr. Di Santo enjoys fashion, design, traveling, and is currently pursuing flute lessons. She is actively involved in philanthropy through the Fundraising Committee and Chair of the Gala Committee at St. André Bessette Catholic Church. Married since 1995, Dr. Di Santo is mother to one son and resides in Vaughan.
Dr. Marco Biagio Fazari – Dentist
Born in Toronto in 1966, Dr. Marco Biagio Fazari is a family dentist with two dental practices: Village Dental Centre in Woodbridge, and Upper Yonge Dental Centre in Richmond Hill.
Dr. Fazari completed all of his education in the Toronto area. He graduated from St. Michael’s College School in 1985. Following high school, he attended the University of Toronto from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1992. Dr. Fazari went on to complete a general practice residency at Sunnybrook Hospital in 1993. Here he was exposed to all facets of dentistry including surgery. He is licenced to offer I.V. sedation to his patients.
Following the completion of school, he spent 5 rotations in Northern Ontario on Native reserves treating indigenous patients, as well as associating in already established dental practices in the GTA.
He opened his first solo dental practice, Upper Yonge Dental in 1995, and opened Village Dental alongside Dr. Di Santo in 2001.
Outside of work, Dr. Fazari has always been passionate about exercise. His first love was running and he completed the Toronto Marathon in 1992, 1994, and 1996. With age, he transitioned to bicycling and has completed numerous fun races over the past years here in Canada, the United States, and Italy. He is an active member of Team Revolution, a cycling team that uses their sport to raise money for charity. The team has raised over 2 million dollars for Humber River Hospital.
His devotion to give back is also evident in his affiliation with Kindness in Action. Here he brings his dental expertise to less fortunate parts of the world free of charge, and has taken part in dental missions in Guatemala, Ecuador, and Peru.
When not at work, Dr. Fazari can be found spending time with his family including wife Daniela and children Madelaine, Olivia, Marco, and Adam. Together they enjoy travelling and building lasting memories.
